JISC has announced that its funding for Intute will be significantly reduced in the new academic year. Consequently, there will be changes to our services following July 2010.
Listed below are all the services that Intute offers, and information about their status for the academic year 2010/11. Please contact us via the helpdesk if you have any questions about any of these services.

Articles showcasing important, newsworthy or topical web resources. Includes Limelight, Spotlight and Health and Life
Sciences Hot Topic archive pages.
Informs
Informs is a free tool for the creation and sharing of interactive online tutorials. It consists of easy to use software
and a database of shared tutorials, which are used to help students to use the Web more effectively.

Intute-Include
A more sophisticated Intute search engine for your site or service (some technical knowledge required).
MyIntute
Create your own account and save searches and records, export data and receive alerts.

North West Film Archive (NWFA)
The North West Film Archive is one of Britain's largest public moving
image collections outside London. Set up in 1977, it currently holds over
30,000 reels of film and videotape, and grows annually. The collection
includes cinema newsreels, documentaries, educational films, travelogues,
advertising and promotional material, corporate videos and regional
television programmes - alongside hundreds of films shot by local families
and enthusiasts.

Podcasts
Intute periodically conducted interviews with prominent researchers to
keep informed of the latest news and developments in their fields. The
interviews were intended to be of interest both to specialists and the
broader education community alike.
RSS newsfeeds
A range of RSS channels from Intute, including latest resources and news.
Search Intute
Find resources in Intute by subject, resource type and more.
Note - existing records will be maintained, however no new
records will be added to Intute after July 2010.
Spaceguide
Topical features and articles for astronomy.
Subject guides
Download subject guides that give details of some of the most useful Internet resources in a range of subjects.

Virtual Training Suite (VTS)
A set of free online tutorials designed to help students to improve their Internet research skills.

A series of guides for over 270 countries and territories, including articles, demographics, geographic data, interactive
